Division 2/3
Blue Raptors defeat Troublemakers 22-7, advance to next round Week 9 (Playoffs) Ryan Tang and Neal O’Bryant combined for 10 points and a staggering 19 rebounds as they helped guide the Blue Raptors to a dominant 22-7 victory over the Troublemakers. The Raptors’ Vincent Hsueh dished out a game-high three assists to go along with two points and two rebounds. Damon Qiu and Mason Lee chipped in with four points apiece. The Troublemakers struggled to get it going offensively. Oliver Ng was the leading man for his team with six points and 10 rebounds. Lawrence Lee scored off of a free throw in the second quarter. With the Troublemakers being eliminated from the playoffs, the Blue Raptors advance to take on the Mini Mambas next Sunday.
Bombers defeat Hot Cheetos 35-13 behind Caden Li’s 10 points Week 9 (Playoffs) Caden Li scored 10 points and grabbed seven boards as he guided the Bombers to a 35-13 win over the Hot Cheetos, ending their chance at a postseason run. Max Dang and Andrew Huerta chipped in with six points apiece for the Bombers. Dang also grabbed seven rebounds. Jimmy Yang had a game-high two assists to go along with seven rebounds and a pair of points. The Hot Cheetos’ Alvin Chan scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds. Chan also recorded an assist midway through the second quarter. Nathan Kwong had a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with two points. With the Hot Cheetos eliminated from the playoffs, the Bombers move on to the next round and take on the Lake Show next Sunday.
Lake Show zaps Lightning out of the playoffs 27-17 Week 9 (Playoffs) With the Lightning and Lake Show heading into the playoffs with identical records, the Lake Show proved themselves as the more dominant team, winning 27-17 behind an all-around team effort. Jasper Lai had eight points, nine rebounds and an assist for the Lake Show. Ethan Yu scored a game-high nine points and grabbed two rebounds. Keylon Daniel had four points and grabbed a monstrous 13 boards. Ryker Hoang also finished the game with four points. The Lightning’s Preston Gittleman led the way in scoring for his team with eight points and grabbed two rebounds early in the second quarter. Mason Voong added seven points and four boards. Austin Chung recorded the team’s lone assist of the game in the fourth quarter. The Lake Show advance to the next round to take on the Bombers next Sunday.
Mini Mambas strike Green Monsters, win 40-25 Week 9 (Playoffs) Maximus Mendez posted a dominant game for the Mini Mambas with 19 points, five assists and 10 rebounds, leading them to a 40-25 victory over the Green Monsters. Mendez wasn’t alone in his efforts, as Aaron Wong added 12 points and a game-high 15 rebounds while Wyatt Yau chipped in with six points and 12 rebounds. The Green Monsters were led by Sanav Subramanian’s 10-point, five-rebound performance. Nathan He chipped in with six points, four rebounds and an assist early in the first quarter. Zander Cheng added five points and three boards. The Mini Mambas advance to the next round and take on the Blue Raptors next Sunday.

Heat end Orcas season with 35-26 win, Lam scores 16 Week 9 (Play-in Game) Justin Lam scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds as he helped the Heat beat the Orcas 35-26. The Heat’s Aiden Li added 12 points and nine rebounds while Aaron Mastandrea had four points, two assists and 15 rebounds. The Orcas’ Emmit Yau led the charge for his team with 14 points and 15 boards. Graison Wu had 10 points and four rebounds. Aaron Lu chipped in with two points and four boards. With the win, the Heat secure the eighth seed and will take on the Yetis in the first round of the AYB playoffs.
Lights Out escape with narrow win against Raptors to secure seventh seed Week 9 (Play-in Game) Liam and Noah Easton scored 10 points apiece for Lights Out as they defeated the Raptors 43-36 to secure the seventh seed. Liam also grabbed nine rebounds while Noah dished out three assists. Kyle Vuong had eight points and three rebounds for Lights Out while Jeffrey Ruan added six points and three boards. The Raptors’ Kenrich Vuong scored 26 points and had three boards. Jaden Ho added four points, two assists and six rebounds. Riley Takaesu matched Ho’s assists with two. Isis Pan had two points and secured seven boards. With the win, Lights Out will take on the second-seeded Mamba Max.
Lions devour Wildcats 52-28 behind Wei’s double-double Week 9 (Playoffs) William Wei scored 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds and two assists as he helped the Lions defeat the Wildcats 52-28. Grant Fohrer tied for a game-high with 16 points to go along with six boards. Dylan Li scored 13 points with one rebound and an assist. Cory Zhang chipped in with four points and nine boards. The Wildcats’ Noah Seo led the way in scoring for his team with 16 points. Liam Fong added four points and six rebounds. Evan Chang, Evan Choe, Isaiah Mendoza and Zachary Yip all finished the game with two points apiece, respectively. The Lions advance to the next round of the playoffs to take on the Mamba Max next Sunday.
Mamba Max pounce Lights Out 35-22 behind Hsia’s 14 points Week 9 (Playoffs) Connor Hsia scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds as the second-seeded Mamba Max defeated the seventh-seeded Lights Out 35-22. Mason Kuan chipped in for the Max’s with seven points and five rebounds. Ceon Bhattacharyya and Ari Chou scored four points apiece with Chou also grabbing three rebounds. Lights Out was led offensively by Madeline Kwong’s six points. Kwong also secured two boards and dished out an assist at the start of the first quarter. Noah Easton added five points while Christian Chan and Liam Easton scored four points apiece. The Mamba Max move on to the semi-finals to take on the Lions next Sunday.
Rana and Li carry offensive load for Yetis, win 62-41 over Heat Week 9 (Playoffs) Pranish Rana and Jacob Li put on an offensive clinic against the Heat, scoring 32 and 22 to lead the Yetis to a dominant victory 62-41. Rana also grabbed 20 rebounds while Li dished out three assists and grabbed seven boards. Caitlyn and Chloe Hsu combined for three assists. Nicholas Wang added four points, an assist and one rebound. The Heat’s Aiden Li had an impressive 28 points against the Yetis. Justin Lam added 11 points, four rebounds and an assist. Aaron Mastandrea and Riley Yuvienco rounded out the Heat’s scoring efforts with two points each. The Yetis advance to the semi-finals to take on the Aces next Sunday.
Aces squeak by Hoop Force 35-28 to advance to semi-finals. Week 9 (Playoffs) The Aces’ Noah He scored a game-high 10 points to go along with four rebounds and an assist as he helped guide the fifth-seeded Aces over the fourth-seeded Hoop Force to a 35-28 victory. Nolan Bone was the next man up for the Aces, scoring seven points and securing four boards. Isaac Garcia had six points, scoring all of them in the first half. Jason Quan chipped in with two points and five rebounds. Hoop Force was led by Ethan Zhou’s five-point, 10-rebound performance. Zhou also dished out an assist midway through the third quarter. Liam Voong and Mason Ye tied for team-high honors with six points each. Voong also recorded nine rebounds. Jordan Mak and Carter Tillman combined for four points and four assists. The Aces move on to the semi-finals and take on the Yetis next Sunday.

Give No Quarter breeze by Cream City 52-35, Miller records 24-5-5 game Week 9 (Playoffs) GNQ’s Xavier Miller had 24 points, five assists and five rebounds as he led the team to a dominant 52-35 win over Cream City. Andy Chan added eight points and an incredible 17 rebounds for GNQ. Mason Lee scored seven points and grabbed four boards. Ray Lin and Jonathan Won scored four points apiece. Talon Tang led the way for Cream City with six points and a monstrous 19 rebounds. Aidan Wu had a team-high 11 points and six rebounds. Deven Ngan and Sydney Lee scored six points each. GNQ advances to the next round to take on Black Widow next Sunday.
Thunder Dragons defeat Eagles 40-28 behind Newman’s 13 points Week 9 (Playoffs) The Thunder Dragon’s Chalmers Xu had 10 points,13 rebounds and two assists as he helped guide the team to a 40-28 victory over the Eagles. Blake Newman scored a team-high 13 points for the Thunder Dragons and also grabbed six rebounds. Jayden Calm added 11 points and three rebounds while Connor Ng had four points, three assists and eight rebounds. Kai Taylor had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Eagles. Quentin Kurniawan had seven points and six rebounds. Devansh Thakur, Aiden Wong and Draden Shih combined for seven points, respectively. Thakur also dished out an assist early in the fourth quarter. The Thunder Dragons move on to the next round and face off against the Bruins next Sunday.
