Division 2/3

Bombers defeat Lakeshow to advance to championship game vs Mini Mambas Week 10 The first-seeded Bombers’ Connor Kung and Caden Li scored seven points each to lead their team to a gritty 26-22 win against the Lake Show, setting themselves up with a matchup against the second-seeded Mini Mambas for the 2024 AYB title. Kung also grabbed seven rebounds while Li had three. The Bombers’ Andrew Huerta finished the game with six points and two boards. Kingston Dunlop, Jovan Hsu and Jimmy Yand scored two points apiece to round out the Bombers' scoring efforts. Yang also had five rebounds and dished out the team's only two assists of the game. The Lake Show were led by Keylon Daniels and his impressive start to the game. Daniels came out of the gates strong with 11 rebounds, two assists and two points in the first quarter alone. Daniels finished the game with six points, 16 rebounds and two assists. Declan Snipes led the way in scoring for the Lake Show with eight points and seven rebounds. Ryker Hoang and Jasper Lai finished with three points each. Ethan Yu rounded out the Lake Show’s efforts with two points, three rebounds and an assist. The Bombers look to complete their perfect run throughout the season and playoffs with a win against the Mini Mambas next Sunday at 10 am.

Mini Mambas outlast Blue Raptors; advance to championship game vs Bombers Week 10 Aaron Wong had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, helping the Mini Mambas outduel the Blue Raptors 24-21 and advancing to the championship game to face the Bombers. The Mini Mambas’ Maximus Mendez helped carry the offensive load with nine points and five boards. Anson Wu and Wyatt Yau scored two points apiece. Yau recorded the second highest amount of rebounds on his team with 11. The Blue Raptors’ Ryan Tang led his team with 11 points and eight rebounds. Neal O’Bryant had six points with nine boards. Damon Qiu rounded out the Raptors’ offensive output with four points while securing six rebounds. The Mini Mambas face off against the Bombers in the championship game this coming Sunday at 10 a.m.

Division 4/5

Mamba Max devour Lions 45-29; face off against Yetis in title game Week 10 The Mamba Max’s Connor Hsia had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as he helped the team secure a 45-29 win against the Lions and a matchup against the Yetis for the championship. Mason Kuan led all scorers on Mamba Max with 11. Kuan also secured six boards. Ari Chou had eight points, seven rebounds and an assist to start the fourth quarter. Ceon Bhattacharyya was a long range specialist this game, scoring nine points on all three’s. Aden Coates and Aaron Deguzman had two points each while Coates also had five boards. Damian Hall rounded out the Mamba Max’s scoring efforts with a three pointer early in the second quarter. Grant Fohrer led all scorers on the Lions with 13 points to go along with five rebounds. William Wei was the next man up with nine points and three boards. Cory Zhang had four points and five rebounds while Dylan Li scored his two points early in the third. Connor Listiawan split a pair of free throws in the first quarter and had three rebounds and an assist for the game. Hailey Hwang; Owen and Simon Digges combined to secure 13 rebounds. The second-seeded Mamba Max look to upset the first-seeded Yetis next Sunday in the championship game, starting at 12 p.m.

Yetis outduel Aces 51-40; will play against Mamba Max in title game Week 10 Pranish Rana recorded a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds, helping guide the Yetis to a 51-40 victory against the Aces. The Yetis’ Jacob Li led all scorers in the game with 18 points, two assists and nine rebounds. Isaac Su had eight points and a game-high four assists – three of them coming in the first five minutes of the third quarter. Luke Chang had two points, two assists and two rebounds for the Yetis. Caitlyn Hsu, Nicholas Wang and Avin Zang rounded out the Yetis’ scoring efforts with two points each, respectively. The Aces’ Austin Guo led the way in scoring for his team with 13 points, two assists and two rebounds. Noah He had 10 points, five rebounds and an assist late in the fourth quarter. Nolan Bone had six points and three boards while Andy Zheng had five points, two assists and six rebounds. The Yetis take on the Mamba Max next Sunday in the championship game, starting at 12 p.m.

Division 6/7

Black Mambas advance to championship game, beat Wolves 74-41 Week 10 The Black Mamba’s Valentino Consolida scored 10 points and grabbed a monstrous 17 rebounds to help his team beat the Wolves 74-41 and advance to the championship game to face the Tigers. Consolida also finished the game with three assists. Charlie Liu led the way in scoring for the Mambas with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Derek Wang had 12 points and six rebounds while Tyler Tran and Timothy Lu finished the game with eight points apiece. Jacob Villavicencio scored five points, dished out three assists and grabbed five rebounds. The Wolves struggled to match the Black Mambas’ offensive output. Tyler Yeung led the way in scoring with 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Dylan Vasquez scored 11 points and grabbed eight boards. Iccauhtli Kinley finished the game with six points, four rebounds and an assist. The one-seeded Black Mambas will take on the second-seeded Tigers, next Sunday in the championship game, starting at 1 p.m.

Bruins squeak by Thunder Dragons 40-38; will play Black Widow in title game Week 10 The Bruins continued their win streak throughout the regular season and playoffs with a 40-38 win against the Thunder Dragons thanks to Daniel Bai’s 11 points, six rebounds and two assists. Ethan Tom scored 10 points for the Bruins and grabbed three boards. Collin Liu chipped in with six points while Carson Levoe Daniels had four points, five rebounds and an assist. Samuel Bai added five points to go along with seven rebounds and two assists. Blake Newman was the leading scorer for the Thunder Dragons with a game-high 13 points to go along with eight rebounds and an assist. Chalmers Xu had a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and two assists. Connor Ng also had 10 points and six boards. Jayden Calm scored four points with three rebounds and two assists. The Bruins look to cap off their perfect season next Sunday in the championship game against Black Widow, starting at 12 p.m.

Division 8/9/10

Tigers defeat West Coast Ballers to set up showdown with Black Widow for title Week 10 The Tigers’ Aiden Pun recorded a double-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and two assists as he helped the team to a 53-44 win over the West Coast Ballers to set up a matchup against Black Widow for the championship. Jayden Hsu led all scorers for the Tigers with 17 points while Marcello Trieu had 16 points and seven boards to bolster the offensive load. Jason Wu finished the game with six points and five rebounds. Jimmy Wu split a pair of free throws late in the fourth quarter and secured three boards for the game. The West Coast Ballers’ Nolan Soriano had a game-high 18 points, two assists and six rebounds. Ryan Chen was the next man up with 11 points – converting on three three-pointers. Timothy Kwan had nine points to go along with six boards. Stephen Kwan rounded out the WCBs scoring efforts with four points and three rebounds. The second-seeded Tigers look to upset the first-seeded Black Widow in the championship game next Sunday, starting at 1 p.m.
